A day at the Zoo
A few photos of a day, wandering around in the Zoo of Schönbrunn.
Tiergarten Schönbrunn (Zoo) was establishes by the Habsburg Franz Stephan of Lorraine, the husband of Maria Theresia in the park of Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna in 1752 and is the world´s oldest zoo that is still in operation today. It presents around 7800 animals from 700 species on an area of 17 hectares.
